Donation of Islamic Activity Books to Orphanages in Nairobi and Namanga

We are pleased to share that a donation of Islamic and Arabic children’s activity books has been made to Al-Nisa Children’s Orphanage in Katen, Nairobi and Al-Huda Orphanage in Namanga. These books were selected for their strong educational value and their ability to introduce young children to Islamic knowledge in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

The activity books support early learning by combining reading, writing, colouring, and problem-solving with foundational Islamic teachings. They help children develop literacy skills while also learning about basic Islamic concepts such as faith, prayer, good character, and daily supplications.

Why this donation is important

Access to quality learning materials is often limited in orphanages and community centres. Providing books helps bridge this gap by strengthening educational programmes and offering children tools that support both academic and moral development. Early exposure to books improves concentration, language skills, and confidence, and encourages a lifelong love of learning.

For orphaned and vulnerable children, educational resources also play an important role in emotional and spiritual well-being. These books give them structured activities, positive values, and a sense of belonging through shared learning. In Islam, caring for orphans and supporting their education is highly encouraged, as it contributes to building stable, knowledgeable, and confident future generations.

This donation reflects a commitment to investing in children’s education and nurturing their growth through knowledge, faith, and creativity. By providing these books, we hope to support the work of both institutions and contribute to brighter opportunities for the children in their care.
