At the Ikhlas Foundation, we truly believe our masjids should be places where everyone feels welcome, safe, and at peace. We are so happy to share that the Masjid Hudaa Restoration Project is officially complete. Our team worked hard to manage every detail of this project, and we’ve seen the masjid transform into a beautiful, modern space for all our worshippers to enjoy.
To give you a better look at how the Ikhlas Foundation managed this project, we have organized the restoration updates into three key categories:
A Better Space for Women

The old ceiling and structural state before we began our work.
The transformed prayer room featuring new ceiling boards, fresh paint, and new windows.
We prioritized making the sisters’ prayer area a truly comfortable and welcoming environment. We believe that a peaceful place to pray is essential for everyone in our community. Before we started, this section lacked proper ventilation and needed a fresh update to make it a more inviting space.
We started by putting in new ceiling boards and laying down high-quality prayer mats. It is amazing how much a fresh ceiling and soft mats change the feeling of the room it now feels like a peaceful place to pray. One of the biggest changes you will notice is how bright the room is now. We installed new windows to let in more sunlight and help the air flow better. On a warm day, the room stays much cooler and more comfortable for everyone. Finally, we gave the whole section a fresh coat of paint everything looks bright, clean, and new.
We prioritized the comfort and privacy of the sisters by fully renovating the toilet area in the women’s section. Our team installed new door for better privacy and we completed a full upgrade of the latrines to ensure they are clean and hygienic. We finished the work with a fresh coat of paint, creating a bright and respectful space that the community can be proud of.

Strengthening the Structures

The old ceiling and structural state before we began our work.
The finished hall with new support beams, ceiling, and paint
We put in new flying beams and pillars to make sure the building stays strong and safe for everyone. After the structural work, we fitted brand-new ceiling boards for a smooth, clean look.We finished everything with a fresh coat of paint.
Reliable Water The New Tank and Birika
Clean, steady water is the heart of the masjid. We wanted to make sure that performing ablution is easy and reliable for everyone who visits. We installed a brand new water tank to make sure we never run out of water, even during busy prayer times. We replaced the old leaking taps with new ones for the Birika to save water and make it easier to use.We repaired the Birika area, finishing it with a fresh look so it’s always a clean space for the community.

A Fresh Look for the Community
We wanted Masjid Hudaa to be a point of pride for our community, both inside and out. It’s the first thing people see when they arrive, so we made sure the exterior got the same care and attention as the prayer hall.

After repair
Our team carefully repaired the outside walls fixing any cracks and wear from the weather to ensure the building stays strong and dry. We gave the entire mosque from the front entrance to the back walls a brand new coat of paint. By focusing on the outside, we’ve made the masjid look bright and clean. It now feels like a truly welcoming place for everyone who passes by.
This project was about more than just construction it was about honoring our community. From the first beam we installed to the last stroke of paint, every detail was handled with care by the Ikhlas Foundation. We invite you all to come and experience the new Masjid Hudaa for yourselves. Together, we are building a stronger, brighter future for our village.Shukran for being part of this journey.
